Originally opened in 1974, The Lodge at Headwaters is located in the beautiful Adirondacks of upstate New York. With easy access to trails, nearby lakes, and mountains, it has become a highly sought after location for snowmobilers, hikers, and avid outdoorsman. Newly renovated in 2016, The Lodge at Headwaters is here to provide you with a comfortable place to kick back and relax while you enjoy your stay in New York.
We offer a variety of amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. Cable & HBO are available in every room with the option of pay-per-view movies. We also provide complimentary WIFI internet access.
Breakfast includes french toast, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, cinnamon buns, coffee, etc.
Spacious lobby to relax, play games and enjoy the company of others.
Need a few more comforts of home? Our extended stay suites include a kitchenette complete with a sink, microwave and full size refrigerator.

There is one thing that The Lodge at Headwaters ❤ 's as much as their guests and that is joining in the effort to do our part in protecting our beautiful environment. Here are a few of the eco-friendly changes we've made here at the lodge:
♻️ The Lodge now uses real silverware, in place of plastic
♻️ The Lodge now has soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the bathrooms, in place of single-use plastic bottles
♻️ The Lodge has separate trash cans in each guest room for recyclables
♻️ The Lodge has in-line laundry soaps - no longer using plastic laundry soap bottles
If there is evidence of pets having been present in your room without permission, with the exception of registered service animals, you will be immediately asked to vacate the premises and will forfeit all amounts paid for your reservation. Your credit card will also be charged a cleaning fee of $250 without notice.
No Smoking Policy ~ Please be aware that all rooms of The Lodge at Headwaters are non-smoking rooms. The Lodge respectfully requests that guests do not smoke in the rooms and instead use the dedicated outdoor smoking areas. Anyone found to be smoking or having smoked in a non-smoking room will be subject to a cleaning fee of $250 without notice.

Where’s the best place to snowmobile in the North Country? The trails of the Tug Hill Region! If snowmobiling is your winter sport then Boonville is the place where sleds like to gather. Groomed trails that run through the property, the Lodge at Headwaters is a snowmobilers dream…”You can roll out of bed and there’s your sled!” Guests can also connect to the New York State Interactive Snowmobiling Trail Maps by following the link below to find many more trail routes & current conditions.
The winter months in and around the areas of Boonville offer both down-hill skiing and cross-country skiing. Snow Ridge Ski Resort in Turin and McCauley Mountain in Old Forge have family fun trails for the novice to the expert. Cross-country ski trails are abundant and provide wooded serene trails for all to enjoy.
